Capture

I have given all of me
Yet I remain unfulfilled
For he loves only with his body
Emotionally invisible
Incapable of seeing
That love with the mind and soul
Heightens the pleasure
I plead with my heart
Please
I do not want to love someone so incomplete
For nothing I do melts his heart of ice
How do I be patient when I am aching
For more than just his body
I want his mind and soul
As he has taken mine
I raise my arms to the sky
And ask for closure
To fly like an uncaged bird
Free from his capture
