Value to the Heart
Glistening Pearls to Tahiti
Succulent spices to India
They are indeed treasured
But pale in comparison
To your value to me
Your lips worth more than the Hope diamond
Your body needed desperately like rain in a drought
You are a gift from the highest heaven
Blessed am I
To have tasted the fruits of love itself
Now that this has been mine
I cannot endure without
When I lay to die
My riches will not come to mind
Titles will not ease my soul
I will think only of my most valued possession
You my love
